Bosses

The Strong One

The Strong One: a roster label for a melee boss with no published name, moveset, arena or drop. What is confirmed, what is missing, how to prepare anyway.

Pre-release Analysis — no confirmed moveset, arena or drop table exists for this boss. Every line below is a verified roster fact, a shared combat rule, or a labelled inference.

Seven confirmed fields, and only one of them is a fight detail. That is the whole public record for this boss.

The roster files it with 20 named bosses and 6 provisionally named, which is the stated 26, plus 7 unconfirmed entries. Projected total: above 50.

Why this page has no move list

The boss page for this entry carries the standard boss-fight wording shared by several other pages, word for word. No attack names, no phase count, no timing.

That pattern is the tell. A page built on a template has not received its own data yet, and no move table is published for this fight.

Treat every “moveset” list you find elsewhere as unverified until the boss page gains its own data.

The light tell is the thing to learn

Boss attacks carry a light tell before they land, and the tell decides your answer. One colour wants a parry, one wants a timed dodge, one wants neither.

The current description is fullest for the white tell. Blocking it without timing burns a large slice of your Sha-Chi and staggers you. A parry fires Ghost Step, an after-image roll behind the boss, refills your Sha-Chi and shreds the boss bar.

Community notes disagree on the hue of that tell, so read the light as a system rather than a fixed palette. If the flash reads blue on your screen, the answer is the same.

  • Parry the parryable tell: free Ghost Step, Sha-Chi back.
  • Timed dodge on the unblockable tell: Ghost Step, and some bosses open a QTE.
  • Heavy guard on the third tell: it holds, then takes most of your Sha-Chi with it.
  • Nothing on a boss parry stance: swinging into it feeds you to a throw.

Where the opening comes from

Damage is not the win condition. Emptying the boss Sha-Chi bar is, because a broken guard cannot block, staggers long, and takes extra damage.

Speculative — not confirmed: a strength-type melee boss likely opens with a heavy swing, so bait it and answer with the parryable tell. Spend the Ghost Step window on Sha-Chi attacks, not normal swings.

That last habit is what opens the bar. Normal attacks cost nothing and drain no boss Sha-Chi, so a long safe string can still leave you with no break.

One more tool belongs in the plan. A weapon swap refills your Sha-Chi to full and clears a guard break on you, which turns a mistake into a reset button.

Pre-release checklist

  1. Practise the tell response on any boss, not this one specifically. The same four answers travel.
  2. Build the habit of Sha-Chi attacks inside a Ghost Step window. It is the only reliable bar damage.
  3. Keep one weapon swap in reserve for a broken guard, and treat it as a defensive cooldown.
  4. Do not memorise a phase count from a video. None is confirmed here.
